The art of quilting is one of the more popular crafting arts when it comes to our club members, so we have made sure that there are lots of ideas and techniques on our website to help you both learn the basics and the enhance your quilts with new techniques and ideas.
Quilts make for wonderful stitch projects and will be treasured by anybody that receives it as a gift or as a heirloom. Quilts that are passed down through the family will invariably incorporate many different designs that can show trends and styles over a long period of time. Time To Book Your Holiday
The cold damp and frosty weather has finally arrived here in the UK and it is clear that its arrival has turned a lot of peoples thoughts to where they will be going on holiday this year. We have had several booking reservations this week and places are filling up quickly for many of the wonderful Colouricious Trips and Tours we have arranged.
Handicrafts & Culture of Kashmir – I am taking a group of craft lovers to Kashmir in July 2016 and would really love you to come with me to see the beautiful crafts – heaven on earth in the Himalayas – this holiday is planned to include the wonderful Hemis Festival in Leh. You can come by yourself, with a friend, daughter, mother, partner, granddaughter (ideal for textile & art students) or why not get a gaggle together of your creative friends, from your stitch/quilting/mixed media/embroidery group. The Colouricious Creative Holiday Jaipur with Kim Thittichai in September is now FULLY BOOKED. We have arranged another Creative Jaipur for January 2017 which will be fully escorted by myself and Kim Thittichai. We have already had several people disappointed they couldn’t come with us in September so we are repeating the same holiday again in January.
