Apply the paint to the wooden block using any common house hold sponge. We often use a large cut up car wash sponge!
Once you have finished printing your fabric, let it dry then carefully iron it to fix the paint. As long as you have used good quality heat-fix fabric paint, your fabric will be machine washable.
Take care to read the instructions on your fabric paint as they do vary, some paints can be washed up to 60ºC and can be tumble dried, where-as others can only be washed up to 30ºC.
We recommend that you take care to wash it inside out with similar colours and on a low setting of 30ºC (just to be safe).
You can either print directly onto shop-bought material or, for a truly unique fabric, why not dye your own? Fabric dye can be bought in any textiles/arts and crafts shop around the country and most hardware stores.
